Hi I’m Ria,

I’m a creative advertising student at VCU. I enjoy turning ordinary things into something fun and unexpected. I take photos of random shapes and objects, then doodle over them until they become something completely new. My work follows the same playful, imaginative style.

I get inspired by the people in my life and the places I go. I know it sounds basic to say I love to travel, but not everyone can say that their car broke down at 10,000 feet in the Himalayas. I like to joke that I have “unlucky luck.” Things don’t always go as planned, but the unexpected is usually what I enjoy most.
